The Baltimore RNLI all-weather lifeboat Hilda Jarrett was called to medically evacuate a 12 year old girl from Cape Clear this evening.
The all-weather lifeboat Hilda Jarrett was launched within minutes of the alarm being raised at 17:04. The lifeboat proceeded to the North Harbour on Cape Clear Island 8 miles west of Baltimore to take the medical casualty on board.
The young girl had been treated by the Island Public Health Nurse who accompanied her back to the mainland.
The all weather lifeboat was crewed by Coxswain Kieran Cotter, Pat Collins (mechanic), Eoin, Ryan, Anthony Sheehy, Ronan Calnan, John O’Flynn, Don O’Donovan and Jim Baker.
