The search in Glandore resumes this morning at 8am. Lifeboats from Baltimore wiill join other vessels under the direction of the LE Niamh which assumed on scene command at 15:30 yesterday when she arrived in the harbour.

Refuel & crew change for ILB

The crew of the inshore lifeboat RIB Bessie have been searching for casualties since early this morning in Glandore Harbour. Helm John Kearney & crew Tadhg Collins & Jim Baker are now being relieved by an alternate crew. The RIB has been refuelled and will rejoin the search shortly.

Date: 07/12/2011 An alarm was raised today at 12:28 pm when a child required medical evacuation from Cape Clear Island. The all weather lifeboat Hilda Jarrett was launched immediately and brought the child to Baltimore pier.
