Medical Evacuation from Cape Clear Island

The all weather lifeboat was called out this afternoon 7th July to medically evacuate a casualty from Cape Clear Island. Following the call for assistance at 14:12 this afternoon, the Alan Massey proceeded to North Harbour on under the direction of Coxswain Kieran Cotter. A young woman who had suffered a leg injury requiring medical attention was taken on board and taken to Baltimore Harbour.
