BALTIMORE LIFEBOAT DINNER DANCE

Baltimore Lifeboat Crew and Fundrasing committee 2005

The Baltimore Lifeboat Crew and Fundraising committee at the 2005 Dinner Dance held at at the Baltimore Harbour Hotel where a capacity crowd danced to the music of the Ian Hendricks Band.

Guest of Honour Anne McSweeney, Area Fund-Raising Manager, gave a speech highlighting the importance of trained crews and said that crew training would be a priority for fund-raising in 2005. She thanked the fundraising committee for all their hard work under the chairmanship of Brigid Cotter and a presentation of flowers was made to Kate Callanan.

Lifeboat Operations Manager, Tom Bushe made a special presentation of a plaque to Bernadette O'Driscoll, wife of the late Bernard O'Driscoll who gave many years of service to the RNLI.

Declan Tiernan, Secretary, praised the comittment of the lifeboat crew and the community support for the lifeboat locally.

The next event organised by the fund-raising committee will be the Walk West Cork on Easter Monday.
