Coxswain to represent RNLI Ireland

Coxswain Kieran Cotter has been given the honour of representing the Irish Division of the RNLI at a garden party to be held in Buckingham Palace by the Queen of England, Elizabeth II on the 10th July.

The annual Baltimore Lifeboat Open day will be held on Saturday 23rd June from 2pm to 5pm. This will provide an opportunity to look over the relief lifeboat “Owen & Anne Aisher” which has been on station since our own lifeboat “Hilda Jarrett” was sent away to Scotland for a survey. Historian Eamon Lankford will be present for part of the day and is an invaluable source of information about the lifeboat service in Baltimore. There will be a quiz and a competition “Get Your Kit On!” where children and adults will be timed in putting on full lifeboat gear. All are welcome to what is a very family friendly event.
