BIM Fundraiser

Pictured with the Bord Iascaigh Mhara Coastal Training Unit during the Baltimore Seafood Festival are Kieran Cotter, cox of the Baltimore Lifeboat; Bridget Cotter, fundraising secretary and Margo O'Flynn, Chairman Baltimore Lifeboat, with David Millard, BIM’s Local Aquaculture Development Officer, and Kathy Cullimore, Environment & Quality Section, BIM, who helped raise over €800 for the RNLI through a seafood tasting session held during the Festival. The delicious, locally produced shellfish sampled at the event were kindly supplied by Colin Whooley of Ocean Run Ltd and Dermot Sheehy of Ilen Seafoods Ltd, Baltimore under the aegis of the Roaringwater Bay CLAMS group.
