At 18:22 this evening Baltimore Lifeboat was asked to go to the assistance of a merchant seaman in urgent need of medical attention on board the Tanker Clarisa. The tanker was 4.8 nautical miles SW of Cape Clear at the time of the alert.

A dive boat Barramundi with 8 people on board experienced engine failure near the Kedges rock outside Baltimore Harbour this morning. The alarm was raised at 12:25 and within minutes Helmsman Youen Jacob with crew Mícheál Cottrell and Ronan Callanan were on their way in the ILB Bessie to offer assistance. [...]

At 12:25 bleepers went off as a dive boat had broken down near the kedge. The inshore lifeboat has launched to give assistance to the dive boat which is reported to have 9 people on board.
