RIB with ten people aboard rescued by Baltimore Lifeboat

The lifeboat was launched at 17:10 on 15th July when a RIB with ten people abaord was reported broken down and drifting south of Gascannane Rock. The crew of the RIB were advised to shoot their anchor until the lifeboat arrived. Shortly after the lifeboat came on scene a crewman was put aboard and the prop was freed. The lifeboat then escorted the RIB to Baltimore Harbour.

Crew for the service were: Coxswain Kieran Cotter, Mechanic Pat Collins, Don Donovan, Eoin Ryan & Brian Ormond.
