RNLI Baltimore Lifeboat assists fishing trawler in Union Hall

The Baltimore Lifeboat was tasked at 23:08 by Valentia Coastguard to give assistance to Fishing trawler N1VF Ashrona broken down at the mouth of Union Hall Harbour. The lifeboat arrived on scene at 00:13 and took casualty in tow. The casualty was towed into Union Hall Harbour and put alongside the pier. The lifeboat returned to base and was made ready for service.

Coxswain Kieran Cotter, Mechanic Cathal Cottrell, Pat Collins, Jim Baker, Paul O’Driscoll Jerry Smith and Michal Cottrell.
